Meet The Team


Abby Addison

Veterinarian Assistant

Abby has been at Mitchell County Animal Clinic since 2013. She started as a volunteer and then was hired as a kennel worker. She attended college at Southern Regional Technical College in Thomasville. She later became a Veterinary Technician and adopted 2 cats and 1 dog. She has a little boy named Noah and she spends her free time chasing him and her dogs.  


Ashlyn Herbst

Veterinarian Assistant

Ashlyn has worked at Mitchell County Animal Clinic since 2018. She started as a kennel worker and moved to a Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Colquitt County High School in 2019. She has 10 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse and 1 miniature donkey. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing in the flats, and just generally spending time in the outdoors. 


Kayla Dooling

Veterinarian Assistant

Kayla has worked at Mitchell County Animal Clinic since 2014, and she volunteered for a year before that. She attended Pelham Schools her whole life and graduated with honors in 2013. She is married to Cody, and they have one daughter, Madilyn. Kayla enjoys spending time with family, fun facts going on small adventures, and doing small crafts and DIY projects. 


Destiny Murphy

Receptionist

Destiny joined Mitchell County Animal Clinic in August of 2020. She has been in the Veterinary field for about 7 years. She started out as Veterinary Technician and switched to be a receptionist.
Destiny graduated from Colquitt County High School in 2016. She is married to Brandon they have a daughter named Addison. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, and playing outside with her little girl and the dogs. She has 3 dogs and 7 horses. 

 


Katelyn Shellhorn

Receptionist

Katelyn has been working here since June of 2021. She first started out as a kennel worker and moved to reception. A few things to know about her is that she is currently a senior at Pelham High School. Her favorite things to do is watch Netflix, get her nails done and spend time with her fur babies. 


Brianna Cox

Kennel Technician

Brianna has worked at Mitchell County Animal Clinic since 2017. She graduated from Pelham High School in 2018 and attended Southern Regional Technical College to become a Surgical Technician. After she graduated in 2019, she decided that was not for her and she continued to work at Mitchell County Animal Clinic. She has a son Karson, who was born 8 weeks early, and she spends all her free time watching him learn and grow. She has one cat that she adopted named Roxie.
